New Hampshire isnt a consolation prize. We stood with Elizabeth Warren to handily defeat Scott Brown in Massachusetts. Now he’s asking for a do-over and thinks New Hampshire is his ticket back to the Senate. New Hampshire needs a leader that can break through Washington’s gridlock and fight for the veterans, small business owners, and middle-class families that carry this state. Over her decades in public service, Jeanne Shaheen has proven she has what it takes. If there is one thing my Uncle Teddy taught me its that compromise and principal arent mutually exclusive. No one ever doubted where the Liberal Lion of the US Senate stood on the big issues of the day. But his relationships across the aisle moved our country forward on everything from immigration reform to health care. Jeanne has never been defined by partisan politics. Whether its her record on fiscal responsibility or her leadership on energy policies to reduce costs for consumers, she puts a premium on the kind of common-sense solutions New Hampshire is known for.
