I get cross, then sad, and finally end up turning my heart inside g out, the bad part on the outside and the good part on the inside, and keep trying to find a way to become what Id like to be and what I could be if… if only there were no other people in the world, that were the last words penned by Anne Frank in her diary. Todays world around us tells how little we have traveled from Annes times. If only Germany was liberated a few months before, If only some had told her there is no contradiction between being light and being pure, if only her fellow family members treated her slightly better, if only had they been less judgmental, if only they had been less judgmental, the year ahead would have been wonderful. Anne Frank and all my fellow travelers ! Where ever you are, be both joyous, flirtatious and light, you are still very pure. There is absolutely no contradiction. Merry Christmas and happy new year.
