New IT Policy for Andhra Pradesh! Targets set to generate direct employment for 5 lakh people - Andhra Pradesh Government announced its new Information TechnologyPolicy 2014 – 2020 - A highly-empowered single window clearance unit is being operationalised to grant approvals and clearances within four weeks of application - If the Government Office does not revert back on the issue of permissions within 4 weeks, then the application is deemed to be approved - Lands to be allotted only to companies that promise at least 100 jobs - At least 500 jobs have to be provided for every acre provided by the State - Subsidies, incentives, recruitment and training assistance to depend on the number of jobs given - IT Industries set up by SCs, STs and Women Entrepreneurs to receive 50% subsidy on electricity charges
