This Regional Contractor cover projects in the Healthcare, Industrial, Commercial, Leisure, Education and Retail sectors. Predominantly their work involves Retail new-builds and fit-outs/refurbishments, despite large spending reductions in this sector during 2013, they were able to see an increase in both turnover and profit margins. Having been recognised twice in recent years in Buildings magazines Constructor of the Year Awards, they have managed to maintain a low turnover of staff, to whom they offer both internal and external training schemes. 2014 will see the company broaden their Client base and as such, they are keen to employ an experienced and ambitious Business Development Manager to ensure continuing growth in an increasingly diverse set of sectors. The candidate should have a demonstrable network of contacts across London and the South East and display the drive to expand this. The client are looking for a bright, driven candidate who will look to continually develop their skills in negotiation, strategic development and planning, meeting financial targets, managing marketing teams, establishing and nurturing key accounts, and closing. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the above skills and represent the company in the best possible light. They are willing to pay between £55,000 - £65,000 (plus bonus package) for the right candidate.
