New Job Enterprise Applications Architect - BBBH112244 Industry: IT Job Type: Permanent Location: Rockledge, Florida We are seeking an accomplished Enterprise Applications Architect to drive application strategy and architecture across the clients enterprise. The Enterprise Applications Architect is responsible for defining the enterprise application roadmaps and working with the company and its Business Units function to establish and maintain the enterprise application standards. This is a key role in the Enterprise Architecture (EA) group within the CIO organization. Responsibilities: · Works with senior business and technology leaders with Corporate and Business Unit functions to understand business objectives, challenges, and success criteria · Develops high level systems and functional requirements for enterprise systems · Develops and maintains enterprise application roadmaps including dependencies, funding profiles, and key milestones · Develops architecture principles to guide both day-to-day needs and annual planning/prioritization initiatives · Must present to executive management and business leaders to gain consensus on strategy in a federated model · Works within a distributed IT organization to optimally implement large, complicated systems (ERP/MRP/Financials/Analytics, etc.) · Drives consolidation and simplification with reference architectures · Drives the development and application of architectural principles, models, methods, and practices for information architecture development · Provides oversight and guidance to project architects to ensure the consistent employment of those standards for sound solution architecture delivery · Builds strategic relationships with senior business executives to ensure the successful flow down of business requirements to projects for implementation · Coordinates with key vendors and industry experts to map product transitions and upgrades into application roadmaps · 20% Travel Required Qualifications: · Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field · 14+ years of relevant work experience in large enterprise environments with at least 5 years work experience in enterprise applications architecture · Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence planning, design, and implementation · Extensive experience with information architecture development and implementation across the ERP, MRP, HR, CRM, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence domains · Must have 10+ years of progressive responsibility working directly with modern, large-scale enterprise application implementations, including PeopleSoft, Oracle, Siebel, Hyperion · Experience with ITAR regulations and government contracts · Extensive experience architecting technical solutions to business problems · Demonstrated experience delivering sophisticated business solutions with a high user adoption rate · Hands-on experience with business requirements gathering/analysis · Must have a solid understanding of all aspects information technology in large enterprises · Ability to obtain a US DOD Security clearance · Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, frameworks, methodologies, and practices · In-depth technical knowledge of information architecture and design principles · Strong knowledge of vendor evaluation and negotiation principles and practices · Successful history of acting as technical lead on full life-cycle information architecture development and application/data integration projects Preferred/Additional Skills: · MBA or M.S. Engineering or other technical discipline · PMP certification with Project Management experience highly desired
