The Lead Security Engineer will lead a team, assisting in the research and development of security related technologies and implementations. This research and development will help the continued success of a large product suite that provides content protection and security for video delivery. The Lead Security Engineer collaborates with their team to deliver the best scalable, quality products for a global client base. The engineer will gain a deep knowledge in specific areas of the technology whilst working through the entire software development cycle. The successful Lead Security Engineer will be responsible for: *Assisting development and QA teams with security related implementations *Developing security related libraries for the development teams *Designing security related protocols, secure storage mechanisms, authentication mechanisms, and more for a range of products *Researching new devices, chipsets and/or operating systems for security capabilities and weaknesses *Designing and developing software for securing and managing premium video content for various environments *Leading and contributing to discussions dealing with architectures, specifications, requirements, testing and design reviews *Implementing your designs, writing code, writing and performing unit tests, integrating into our distributed video security system and following deliverables through the product design/development lifecycle *Developing new algorithms and software; analyzing, reviewing, and re-architecting current designs in order to create new capabilities as well as improve performance, efficiency, and sustainability *Estimating and planning development tasks, improving development processes and tools to meet corporate targets *Helping train new development engineers in secure development lifecycle (SDL) *Assisting in analyzing possible security breaches and design countermeasures. *Participating in the innovation process to increase the companys patent portfolio. Required experience for the Lead Security Engineer position includes: *7+ years software engineering work experience, with 5+ years C, C++, or Java design and coding experience (multiple languages a bonus) *Practical knowledge of cryptographic paradigms such as PKI, Encryption Authentication, Key exchange algorithms, etc. *Understanding of software obfuscation and white-box cryptography and related commercial applications *Extensive programming experience using the following: oMulti-threading oNetwork programming using TCP, UDP oClient/server distributed architecture *Experience with Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) *Knowledge of multimedia chipset security features and concepts such as Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) and TrustZone *Familiarity with penetration and fuzz testing tools *Leading or managing development teams In return they offer an environment centered around the staff, providing an ideal place to grow personally and professionally whole exploring and developing exciting new technologies.
