On Sunday, March 30th at 2 pm well be presenting a discussion on contemporary fiber art in conjunction with our California Fibers exhibition. I will moderate a discussion with artists including Gail Fraser, Polly Jacobs-Giacchina, Brecia Kralovic-Logan, Michael Rhode, Peggy Wiedemann and Lori Zimmerman as well as special guest, Ojai Valley Museum Director Michele Pracy. The public is invited to attend. For those who are unable to attend, the event will be videotaped by filmmaker John Treur and shared on the Internet at a later date, as part of our educational programming. There are a number of things Im looking at discussing, but Im wondering what any of you feel are important aspects of the contemporary fiber field to bring into the dialogue...
