New Job Learning Consultant - CPLCON001 Industry: IT Job Type: Permanent Location: London, England My client who are one of the UKs Leading Service Integrators, are currently looking to hire SAP/Oracle Learning consultants in order for them to join their Business Consulting Team. The training team is responsible for implementing training programmes to support new system roll-outs for a wide range of clients. The primary area of responsibility for the Training Consultant will be to work at the client site, providing advice and guidance and helping the client to develop a training strategy that will ensure a successful outcome. The Education and Training Consultants focus on building the clients capability within our broader Ready, Willing AND Able organisational change model. Key Responsibilities * Define a clear and innovative Training Strategy incorporating a blended approach; * Develop a complex (e.g. multiple locations, large user numbers, multiple organisations, more than one language etc) Training Needs Analysis (TNA) with supporting documentation and plans; * Manage the entire training life cycle from design, development and delivery through to review of effectiveness; * Manage sizeable teams of training developers, ensuring that the deliverables are signed-off on time and above customer expectation. The teams could be a mixture of trainers, client business users, contractors and 3rd party specialists; * Scope, plan and manage a Rightshore model for training development (i.e. incorporating UK and offshore developers); * Build and maintain a close working relationship between the client, the training team and the functional/technical consultants; * Deliver Train the Trainer and other soft skills training through, face to face and virtual classroom courses; * Provide advice and guidance on training methods and techniques, including: - How to use classroom based training, coaching, eLearning and Social Media to establish practical, * Act as an advocate of education AND training propositions; * Keep up to date with methods, tools and techniques which can be applied to achieve more effective learning, use this knowledge to propose innovative modes of delivery for clients and internally; * Contribute to knowledge share activities (e.g. Yammer dialogue, conference calls, team meetings) and lead initiatives which develop the BTS Training Team community of practice; Skills and Experience We are looking for the highest calibre individuals who exhibit the following attributes, experience and skills that enable them to deliver rapid value to our clients: * Has implemented innovative solutions for education and training on large scale projects; * Has contributed to a Training Strategy and carried out at least one TNA, providing practical solutions to complex situations; * Has worked through the end to end life training life cycle, in multiple projects; * Has developed and delivered classroom courses, including soft skills courses, with some exposure to running large education events to share key messages; * Understanding of key eLearning and productivity tools and their capabilities; * Awareness of how social media (Webex, Chatter, Yammer, Blogs etc) can be used as part of a blended learning solution; * Experience of LMSs and how these tools can be used to meet the diverse needs of a client. * Experience of implementing education solutions alongside a business change work stream; * A good understanding of one or more business process area such as Finance, HR, Supply Chain, CRM, but with the ability to pick up new business areas quickly; * Sound evidence of contributing to one or more proposals, ideally with presentation to clients; * Experience of coaching team members and clients to deliver outcomes, with an understanding of how to construct a team with the client to deliver the project deliverable If you feel you have the necessary skills and are interested, please send over your latest CV and i will call you to discuss.
