New Job Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - 465458/MSMERVISLBK27 Industry: Engineering Job Type: Permanent Location: Worcestershire, England Salary: £28000 - £30000 per annum + Bonus + Fantastic Benefits Maintenance Engineer Worcestershire £28k + Bonus + Fantastic Benefits Permanent - Double Days I am currently looking for Maintenance Engineers for high volume manufacturing plant based in Worcestershire. Key responsibilities include: - Diagnose and repair machine faults on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, in accordance with manufacturers instructions and modern safe working practices utilising safety lock out procedures. Maintain CNC machinery and auxiliary equipment to ensure optimum uptime Respond immediately to equipment breakdowns Complete preventative maintenance as scheduled Act as lead engineer on shift and relay information to Maintenance Manager Communicate progress effectively to production managers Participate in on call rota and different shifts when required to cover holidays and absences On completion of all jobs, ensure the equipment is in a safe working condition and the working environment is clean and tidy with all guarding properly in place Carry out TPM and PPM work and calibration of machinery Use computerised system to report details of breakdowns and management of spares stock You will be a Time Served Electrical Engineer with good mechanical skills and good working knowledge of single and three phase power supplies, machines and AC / DC drives. You will also be conversant with PLC and control gear systems, with the ability to fault find on PLCs and with strong experience of maintaining a wide range of equipment across a process manufacturing facility You will be competent in reading circuit diagrams with good working knowledge of pneumatic systems and basic hydraulics.
