New Job Repairs Planner/Scheduler - SC/PL/WA/DA/11 Industry: Building and Construction Job Type: Permanent Location: Waltham Abbey, England Salary: £10.50 per hour Repairs Planner/ Scheduler Supervisor My client is a dynamic and exciting Building Services Organisation located in Waltham Abbey they are currently seeking a Maintenance Repairs Planner/Scheduler to join their team on temporary, on-going Contract. The successful individual will be responsible for leading, motivating, managing and developing the Administration Resource repairs Planners to provide an excellent service to all our tenants and customers. SUMMARY OF MAIN DUTIES Ensure the effective use of the scheduling system, to provide the appropriate allocation of resources to work. Maximise productivity of the operatives and eliminate waste. This will include allocation of work to operatives and/or contractors considering prioritisation, materials, location and resources. Ensure the team are proactive in rescheduling work as and when necessary. To act as the first point of contact for tenants and customers, including the co-ordination and resolution of initial complaints and feedback. Ensure the team provides customers with prompt, professional and accurate information, delivered in a consistent and efficient manner. Provide information, reports and support to the Property Services management team, Senior management team, Board, and relevant Committees or working groups when required. Assist the Operations Manager in enhancing back office processes and systems to ensure service priorities standards are met and maintained. Ensure that the team conduct outbound calls regarding service request progress to maintain customer service. Ensure the teams Productivity and Key performance indicators are achieved. Ensure the team maintain data and information and ensure it is updated into the appropriate IT systems accurately and in a timely manner and that stock data records are kept up to date. Effectively works with the CSC team manager to ensure any operational improvements are implemented and difficulties are identified and resolved. Support the Trades supervisors in the ordering of materials, maintaining of van stocks, and document management to ensure value for money. Ensure appropriate and accurate record keeping by the team on all databases and IT systems takes place. Takes overall responsibility for fleet vehicle management and driver records ensuring compliance with the law, and policies and procedures relating to fleet usage and compliance are adhered to. Meeting and liaising with internal and external customers and partners, contracts and tenants to agree work schedules and ensure satisfactory and timely completion of works. ESSENTIAL Substantial experience managing a team working in a customer focused environment Substantial experience of working in an environment with demanding performance targets. Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent negotiation skills Proven ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information. Experience at Intermediate lever of Microsoft Office particularly Word and Excel. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure Experience of working with databases - opti time.
