New Job Safety Case Manager (Contract) - HPSCM Industry: Oil and Gas Job Type: Contract Location: Singapore Salary: Fully negotiable Safety Case Manager Ably Resources are currently representing a Safety Case Manager position on a 2 year Contract basis, with the possibility to be kept on as staff. This position has occurred due to a recent project win in order to deliver the Safety Case in line with UKCS standards. The company this role lies with has an excellent reputation in the Oil and Gas and Maritime industry with locations worldwide. This particular project involves FPSO experience. Key Responsibilities * Development and delivery of the safety case strategy and planning in order to outline the how it will be produced and developed. * Being the key focal point for the Project Management Offices Safety Case Manager on all matters relating to the project delivery. * Representing the company at the UKCS Regulatory meetings. * Developing the Safety Case budget and maintain that budget. * Manage the delivery of the Safety Case development, requirements and verification processes. * Liaising closely with the Technical Safety Engineers. * Managing the construction of the project documentation in order to ensure all contributors understand their roles and responsibilities within their project sections. * Developing the communication procedures alongside the company in order to have the correct levels in place to meet the UKCS expectations and requirements. * Contributing to the safety management documentation preparation defined in the SC strategy. * Developing staff; and overseeing the verification of their work. Education * Technical Degree preferably at Masters level Experience * 15 years minimum experience within the offshore and shipping industry * Experience in the delivery of safety cases to UK regulatory standards. The salary for this position is negotiable and although it is a 2 year contract there is the possibility to remain staff when this contract ends. Open to all nationalities.
