New Job Senior Cost Analyst - TF/11531 Industry: Accountancy Job Type: Permanent Location: Middlesbrough, England Salary: £25000 - £30000 per annum Greenwellgleeson are recruiting for the position of Senior Cost Analyst to work within a large manufacturing organisation in the Middlesbrough area. Duties of the role will include; Assisting in month end close of the general ledger. Assisting in month end close of the general ledger Collecting data to determine costs of production such as raw material purchases, inventory and labour / overheads. Analysing data collected and recording results. Analysing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports. Developing inventory analysis reports and analysing variances. Assisting in the improvement in internal controls related to inventory and conversion costs. Verifying the accuracy of costings and reporting and monitoring costs against budgets. Monitoring inventory transactions and reconciling period end stocks to the general ledger. In order to be considered for the role you must be Part Qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA). You must have experience of daily, weekly, monthly and annual management reports. You must have a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience and be experienced with Batch or process accounting.
