They are a global organisation that have offices around the globe and an influence worldwide. They have many technology focussed initiatives looking at expediting the use of mobile as a core device in future technologies. As part of their personal data programme, they are seeking a technical support specialist with the following experience: Person Specification *Excellent knowledge of HTTP, JSON, RESTful API services *Good practical knowledge of invoking RESTful API services ideally from Java or Javascript code *Ideally experience of using similar authentication services e.g. OAuth 2, OpenID Connect, Facebook/ Twitter/ Google Plus login *Android/ iOS development a bonus *Experienced using Unix type operating systems e.g. Linux, Mac OSX, BSD including command line operation / scripting *Experience using cURL or similar utilities to make and debug RESTful API services *Experience of managing technical forums/ answering technical queries *Ideally experience of debugging HTTP / web services *Excellent communications skills *You will be an excellent customer relationship and stakeholder manager, able to generate trust, long term engagement and commitment *You will have a strong intellect, able to work with abstract concepts through to detailed solutions that are understandable, agreeable and implementable *You will be capable of earning (or have already earned) peer respect as a technical expert in the field of identity technologies, services and Personal Data concepts *You will be highly detail and customer service oriented *Engineering degree and/or similar technical experience in the development of identity services including user authentication, identity assertion, user profiling and attribute management.
