New Scotland and Northern Ireland Maximum Temperatures for 2013 Both Scotland and Northern Ireland saw their highest maximum temperatures of the year so far on Monday 8 July. Glasgow Bishopton reached 27.6C and Castlederg 29.5C, with the Castlederg figure notably close to the all-time maximum temperature record for Northern Ireland: 30.8C set in both 1976 and 1983.
