New Survey Shows Women Prefer Flub To Flex On Their Man Might be time to forgo the #fitspo trolling, guys, because according to a new survey women are not about the chiseled lewk. Polling British women as to what they find ideal when it comes to a man’s bod, a study conducted by The British Psychological Society just debunked the idea that all women swoon over the beefcake build. In fact, the survey revealed that “one in five UK women actively lust after cuddly men with a little extra padding around the middle,” and that only 10% of women liked their men muscular and broad. Translation: all those hours put in pumping iron may not be bringing any girls ‘ta the yard.Along with these new stats on body image, 40% of women also stated that their own partner has the “ideal” body. Meaning there are some seriously happy couples across the pond unlike in the States where women are all like “You need to get up off the couch, and onto the treadmill.”Furthermore, the study says that 33% of ladies prefer men with some hair on their chests, and less than 10% of women in the UK like the clean-shaven look.According to the Daily Mail, “the research revealed that men with cuddly bodies rated most attractive to women seeking long-term relationships, due to their perceived humour, intelligence, honesty and kind-nature.” AKA women are tending to associate abs with douchieness and lovehandles with tender love, and care.
