New Virginia amendment to the Medical Indicators law. Currently, DMV customers are allowed to indicate hearing or speech impairment or a condition of insulin-dependent diabetes on their driver’s licenses. Starting July 1, drivers will also be able to designate an intellectual disability or autism spectrum disorder on their driver’s licenses. Identification card holders can also designate any of these conditions on those cards as well. Good Plan. Happy Friday!
