New World Family: The Making of a Man It my reflection on 23rd of October, 2014 by 1:30 am to 2:45 am, I arrived at the conclusion that the making of a man is a function of divinity and man himself. God is the constant factor in the equation of life. Your religious belief is immaterial to ascertain the veracity of this postulation . The truism of this settled fact is beyond disputation. Man is the variable, your personal inputs determine your ultimate results when God is the constant factor. We need to be alive to our responsibilities; “God will do it” while you fold your hands is an invitation to poverty and shame! Gen 17: 4-5 is instructive, it reads ‘As for me, behold my covenant is with thee and thou shall be a father of many nations. I will make thee exceeding fruitful and I will MAKE nations of thee and kings shall come out of thee.” What an insightful illumination to the making of a man! You can be in the covenant with God and still be a failure (fatherless) until you activate your role. As for God, Abraham was a father of many nations but the reality of that promise was not made manifest in the covenant sense. Recalled that in Gen 16: 1-3 specifically at 15 and 16 “And Hagar bare a son and Abram called his son’s name which Hagar bare Ishmael and Abraham was four-score and six years old, when Hagar bare Ishmael to Abram.” The Bible is indeed a perfect holy book that captured in details human weaknesses and God’s faithfulness. It would appear that Abraham was potent as a man but Sarah couldn’t bare a child after several years of marriage and on her instruction, Abraham took Hagar, Sarah’s maid, an Egyptian. In our guest to be made, we must adhere strictly with fundamental and immutable principles that will guarantee happiness devoid of sorrow. The global crisis in the world is rooted in Abraham’s mistake of ‘entering” Hagar. Be care what you ‘enter’ into in the name of pleasure or indulgence, it might impede your glorious future! Ladies shall not destroy your future. Your past mistakes is hereby erase with the blood of Jesus Christ, adjust from today. You shall be made by God and your industry! Receive uncommon favour to labour that your colourful destiny will emerge in Jesus name. Laziness shall not locate your address! Poverty and shame shall be far from your abode! You shall manifest royalty “kings shall come out of thee” in Jesus name. Peace in all your ways and endeavour! Your labour shall be rewarded with measurable and tangible results beyond your wildest imagination in Jesus name.
