New York-- Wasnt quiet. No, that wasnt going to be the start of this. No usual it was a quiet day today, and not much was going on, because a lot was going on. And that a lot that was going on... Well, of course, S.H.I.E.L.D had found out. Theyd been the first to know, obviously. What, with the technology they possessed and their surveillance on everything... It almost got a girl a little creeped out. Perched a-top the edge of the Empirte State building- just about the highest point in New York- Jess scoped out the city. Her job given by Fury was to locate anything weird, and either report it, chase it, or deal with it. A job she was usually given and was okay with receiving; especially after her latest suit update thanks to a certain Male spider with a very closely matching name to her own. So far, she didnt see anything out of the ordinary. A few thugs walking around-- normal. A few muggings-- normal. Bad, but normal. Some traffic hold ups-- also bad, but not bad for her. Bad for the people. Sighs. Maybe if Fury would actually have told me what Im looking for-- Cut off by a shaking, Jess dropped to all fours on the building, sticking to the wall with her bio electricity. What was that..? A tremor? In New York? She wanted to say gee, when did those ever happen?, but really, when did they not? Though... This one seemed different. She could feel it in her bones. Looking around once more at the chaos some people were suddenly thrown into, Jess furrowed her brow under her mask, trying to think through what may have just happened. That was... Weir-- No.. No thats weird. She said after finally lifting her head up, and looking out past the city. New surroundings... This wasnt what was usually surrounding New York. No-- This was entirely different. Sure, some things were the same-- But there was a lot that was different. Maybe I should call in to S.H.I.E.L.D.. // Cøle MacGrath
