I thought I noticed FOX 5 News with the former NewsChannel 4 era announcer. Turns out it was. I dont know if he, Scott Chapin, was dumped by WNBC to avoid an imaging conflict with WNYW. I thought the NewsChannel 4 announcer sounded like the same announcer, with different voice processing, as the Channel 2 Action News announcer on WSB-TV. Scott Chapin was on all three stations.
