Newark, however New Jersey is named after an Island just off the coast of the UK, I wonder if this has led to some issues for the City, feelings of being different, even jealousy that Newark is in New Jersey, but is named after a city, not an island.... TO my knowledge the U.S have not named any citys or states after the Isle of Man or the Isle of White, the Newsky was of course mistakenly called SkyNews :/
