New acting IG Police Islamabad, Khalid Khattak ( DIG ) has also refused to conduct operation against unprovoked crowd outside the parliament . The police officials are demanding the wrotten oders , in case of any action -- No verbal oerders will be accepted , it is maintained after the Model Town Incident , in which Government of Punjab has put all the responsibility of killings on the shoulders of Lahore Police. Earlier, Aftab Cheema , IG Islamabad was sacked by PM , as he refused to obey verbal orders of the Federal government , to conduct the operation. Tesion prevails in the capital. Reportedly, Federal Government is planning to give the charge of operation to IG Punjab Lahore. Reportedly IG Police Punjab is also under acute stress, he is also felt that if he accept the verbal orders of CM Punjab , then probably junior officers may refuse to conduct the operation in Islamabad - Simultaneously , legal issues will be cropped up , when Punjab Police will conduct operation without the consent of Islamabad Police-- The police morale is at the lowest ebb, as revealed by a DIG level officer to me
