New changes on eBay: What is Top Rated Plus? Top Rated Plus - TopicsExpress

New changes on eBay: What is Top Rated Plus? Top Rated Plus works alongside Top Rated Seller. Top Rated Plus works at the listing level, aimed at clearly identifying listings from Top Rated Sellers that also offer: ~ Free postage ~ Fast handling (0-1 days) ~ An express postage option ~ 30+ day money back returns. What is Top Rated Seller? From 20 June 2013, the below requirements must be met to achieve Top Rated Seller status: ~ AUD $1,000 or more in annual sales ~ Held an eBay account for at least 90 days ~ 100 or more transactions with Australian buyers over the past twelve months ~ Compliance with the Selling Practices Policy ~ Detailed Seller Ratings (DSRs): Not receive more than two low scores (1 or 2 stars) nor exceed 0.05% of transactions with low scores* within the applicable evaluation period. * The time period for evaluation of the rates of 1s and 2s on DSRs is the most recent three calendar months for sellers with 400 or more transactions during those months. For all other sellers, the rates are based on transactions over the past 12 months. These changes are being introduced in two phases: From 20 June 2013, the Seller Dashboard will display details about what portion of your listings will qualify for Top Rated Plus. From late August 2013, qualifying listings will start to benefit from increased visibility in search and the Top Rated Plus badge will be introduced. The Top Rated Seller badge will be retired from listings. You should take the time to think about what these changes mean for you and how you can adapt your listing and selling practices to benefit from the changes.
