New game project Supremacy 1950 based on the Gunpowder Empire timeline, with some extrapolation based on some steampunk, SM Stirling, my imagination and a few other ideas. Game start: January 1950 The Major Powers (The Reich) European Reich (victorious a decade ago in the Final Eurasian War where Reich and Japanese atomic bombs along with Atlantic Federation seapower finally brought an end to 250 years of Chinese aggression. Atlantic Federation (The Federation) The American/Irish/British states happy in their essentially Canadian style socialism and economy, but looking toward new frontiers French Empire The Roman Style French Republic was an empire early own and eventually takes up the trappings in the early 20th Century. Unio meridiem Americae (Union) Built on the lands liberated by Napoleon Bonaparte in the 19th Century from the old Spanish and Portuguese empires and consisting of most of South America except for the northern Caribbean zone. A socialist peoples republic and the only society with true racial equality among Native American, European and African people. African Free States A cross between the Boer/ Afrikaans society in real life, with a touch of the Draka and essentially a quasi fascist society built on the White European conquest of Africa of much of sub Saharan Africa Acadian Dominion Say hello to a combination of the Draka and Spartans, with Cajun and Caribbean tones. Panasian Association Built from the Japanese Empire that dominates the North Pacific and South China Sea and including Japanese America, Indonesia and points in between as well as parts of the wreckage that used to be China. Minor Powers (that arent client states) Australian Alliance (the small nations that developed from German, Swedish, British, and French Hugonaut colonies in Australia and New Zealand) Mexican Republic (which owns most of Central America) Russia (mostly centered around the Urals/Volga/Siberia with very little territory in RL European Russia). Finally starting to make its own path after being the battleground between the Reich and Chinese Indochina built out of the ruins of the former Chinese Empire and extending into RL Cantonese areas as well. Making its way out of the shadow of the destruction of the empire that dominated it for 250 years.
