My daughter Keegan Nashan posted this on her wall. I see so many similarities in Keegan and Emma. They were bossy when they were children, and as young women are articulate, opinionated, compassionate, thoughtful, risk takers who stand up for what they believe in. What a wonderful and thoughtful speech this young woman composed and presented on equal rights and feminism. Every once in awhile I read or hear something that brings clarity to a complicated thought or emotion. Emma does this in this speech, she weaves together a complicated history and brings out a simple and obvious solution. She is doing great things. I see my Keegan give her everything in all that she does and in a little bit she will be off on another adventure. She brings claro to my life in so many ways and I cant wait to see what great things she will continue to do......Take a few minutes and listen.
