New painting of Vincent van Gogh discovered! The Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam discovered a new painting of Van Gogh. The painting, named ‘Sunset at Montmajour’ was produced in the summer of 1888, when Van Gogh lived in Arles, a village in the south of France. Director Axel Rüger: “A discovery of this magnitude has never before occurred in the history of the Van Gogh Museum.’’ The painting can be seen at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, in the exhibition Van Gogh at work, open daily until 12 January 2014. vangoghmuseum.nl/vgm/index.jsp?page=330726&lang=en
