Since the typhoon, we have only received small rations of just a few cans and 1 or 2 kg of rice.- Survivor. Each food kit contains: 30kg of rice, 30 boxes of noodles, 2kg of sugar, 20 boxes of sardines and 0.5kg of salt. In the last few days, Action Against Hunger/ACF staff have been working around the clock to provide emergency supplies to survivors of Typhoon Haiyan. Having conducted needs assessments, established beneficiary lists and liaised with local authorities to facilitate delivery networks, our teams distributed 60 tons of food items, including rice, sardines and salt, to some 9,000 survivors in the Philippines. #Haiyan #YolandaPH #BangonPilipinas
