During those years, the United States evolved from a new nation fighting Great Britain for independence (1774–1781), through the monumental American Civil War (1861–65) to the worlds sole remaining superpower of the late 20th century and early 21st century (Chambers, 1999). In this article I will talk briefly about the history of U.S. Military Interventions mentioning 4 invasions , of course there are tens or hundreds of invasions but there is no time to mention all of them. Thus I have chosen 4 important military interventions from the modern era that have had a big impact on the new world order, Vietnam, Afghanistan & Iraq additionally I`ll talk briefly about the Syria conflict. Vietnam The claim by the Johnson White House was that an American ship was attacked by North Vietnamese patrol boats in the Gulf of Tonkin. This was later proven to be false, but at the time it was used as the pretext for American involvement in the conflict. The US had been seeking to bolster the anti-communist South against the Viet Cong, and US ground troops were soon fighting the infiltrating North Vietnamese armies. (Cohen & Solomon, 1994) Afghanistan CIA created al-Qaeda and gave $3 BILLION to Osama bin Laden and isit The US government trained, armed, funded and supported Osama bin Laden and his followers in Afghanistan during the cold war. With a huge investment of $3,000,000,000 (three billion US dollars), the CIA effectively created and nurtured bin Ladens al-Qaeda terrorist network using American tax-payers money. Afghanistan is one of the worlds poorest countries, where such an enormous sum sum of money would have had extraordinary value. BBC news article: ...Bin Laden left Saudi Arabia in 1979 to fight against the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. The Afghan jihad was backed with American dollars and had the blessing of the governments of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. He received security training from the CIA itself. (BBC News, 2001) Forbes business information service article: ...[Osama bin Laden] received military and financial assistance from the intelligence services of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and the United States. (Klebnikov, 2001) ABC News article: In the 1980s, bin Laden left his comfortable Saudi home for Afghanistan to participate in the Afghan jihad, or holy war, against the invading forces of the Soviet Union - a cause that, ironically, the United States funded, pouring $3 billion into the Afghan resistance via the CIA. (abcnews, 2001) Hillary Clinton Admits the U.S. Government Created al-Qaeda The Mujahideen were the database of Al-Qaeda assets. Al-Qaeda are a controlled opposition force of the Central Intelligence Agency to promote their middle east destabilization process, to give empirical U.S. Military Industrial Complex a reason to invade wherever they want in the ever widening war on terror fraud.
