New review on trip adviser “Calypso Caribbean is by far THE Best.” 12 Aug 2013 janet..grogan.. Yesterday evening was the first time ive ever tried caribbean food & Wowwww "DELICIOUS" is an under-statement!! i ordered the jerk chicken & caribbean fries for my main meal and was pleasantly surprised with how promt - our food was served. Was a generous portion & the presentation was excellent. The food was simply amazing. (I wouldnt usually bother writing any kind of reveiw etc) but the chef/restraunt should be highly recommended & recieve recognition for the delicious menu they have available here,& also the friendly atmospher & fantastic service they provide) - Not over-priced & No snobbery just down to earth lovely people. All staff/waiters were soo polite & friendly/helpful. Overall had a truly fantastic evening and would recommend anybody looking for a great evening/great food to try the Calypso Caribbean. ye man
