New social experiment time. Im going to make a short post every time I am harassed. Because Im tired of it. Because its normal. Because if I keep quiet every time it happens, Ill end up with a brain tumor or something! So, today at the library... I get out of my car and walk to the library entrance. Some drunk man reeking of beer starts yelling at me you are the prettiest girl I seen in Norwich all day! Me: please keep your opinions to yourself Drunk: its a compliment! Be nice! Me: I dont have to be nice to you,I dont know you from Adam Then at the door of the library there were 3 teens (2 guys and a girl) laughing at me, talking about how some chicks are so uptight, nothing wrong with a guy doing a little window shopping Nice right? It gets better. I go in, return the books I had and get new ones. In the check out line the drunk comes in looking for a bathroom, sees me and starts telling me how Im not a nice person. Then he wanders off to find the bathroom. So I checked out and hauled ass to my car before he came out again. If he hadnt come in if have asked the librarians if they had anyone at all free to walk me to my car. What is wrong with people? I feel more and more like I cant go out of my house without my husband with me these days if I dont want to be harassed. My friends (not just the ladies) do the same. Post when something happens because Im feeling alone. And angry.
