New speaker confirmed for 2014 APAC / Americas Joint Regional Meeting in San Francisco! David Jackson, HR Director, Online Business Groups at Microsoft Adaptive Leadership About David Jackson: O. David Jackson is the HR Director for Microsoft Corporations Online Services Divisions Business Groups, which encompass the Marketing, Advertising, Finance and Project Management organizations. Prior to this role, he built and led the strategic HR agenda for Microsofts Bing Search Research and Development (R&D) organization. With more than 20 years of HR experience across the public, private and social sectors, Jackson began his career with the U.S. Department of Labor in 1991. After working there within the Employment and Evaluation, and, Workforce Planning and Management divisions, he joined the Washington, D.C. congressional staff of Representative Sheila Jackson Lee (D-18th TX). After serving in the public sector, Jackson managed and led Generalist and Staffing functions for Abt Associates, Inc. (Chicago and Boston), WedMD Corporation (New Jersey) and Scholastic Publishing (New York). He holds a B.A. in political science from Howard University. In 2005, Jackson earned the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR(r)) designation and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. In 2009, he earned an MBA with a concentration in Executive Leadership Development from Seattle Universitys Albers School of Business and Economics Center for Leadership Formation. In addition to his service on the HR Certification Institute Board of Directors, Jackson presently serves as an Advisory Board Member to Seattle Universitys Center for Leadership Formation, and as a Board of Directors Member for the Domestic Abuse Womens Network (DAWN), one of Washington states largest organizations dedicated to ending domestic violence. more info: bit.ly/1kz0RDG
