New study in Job coming up at church. Im thinking Ill skip to the end of that one. :/ Update on Dave is that while IV chemotherapy has ended, his blood counts will still drop for a bit. Platelets were very low today, and units of platelets are ordered. His white cell count dropped lower also, and he will be given a shot to encourage faster white cell growth in the bone. This could cause some bone pain. He received blood yesterday for low hematocrit. Continued very low energy and fatigued as expected. In a couple weeks the doctors will again do a bone marrow biopsy to determine whether it looks like he is in remission, and how to continue his treatment. He may need several more rounds of chemo or a sibling bone marrow transplant. We shopped for some clothes for Dave and he is glad to have something to wear besides the lovely hospital gown. Yesterday was mostly spent shopping as we have had to leave everything at our home to avoid cross-contamination, including all clothing. My sister in law, Ginger, is truly the queen of finding incredible sales and clearance deals; she was definitely putting her skills to work for us yesterday! While we look for a new home, we are staying at Daves parents home - they are away on a trip for a month so weve taken over that living space in Mount Crawford temporarily. The criteria for our new home has a few specific requirements due to the compromised immune issues - Daves of course, but also the childrens illnesses that are likely caused by the fungus issues. I will be taking the kids to many doctor appointments in the coming weeks to address their issues.
