If youre desperately trying to shed that cookie weight, or if you asked for biceps for Christmas (and or Hanukkah, and any other religious celebrations) and didnt get them, then you should totes come to morning weight lifting for track athletes! its still Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:15 in the AHS weight room, and its still tons (pun, because ton is a unit of weight, and weight lifting involves lifting weights, even though there are no weights equivalent to a ton in the weight room) of fun! Just listen to a satisfied customer, Jon Cabak, Its fun, he says. Anyway, weightlifting is still a great way to get toned for the track season, or just lose weight, and add muscle. Theres always going to be at least one captain on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so if you have any questions, someone will always be able to help. If youve never weight lifted before, thats alright, you should still come on out and try it! If you come in the mornings theres also an off chance that youll make a rare sighting of the lifting god, Nate Oelke, and i think thats an experience that everybody can benefit from! 2015 lifting starts tomorrow! A year to find those biceps, and say goodbye to crying in the bathroom because your mom made fun of you for being weak! Not that thats happened to me, but um....you know....yeah. If you want to ball it up on the track, then come lift, you wont ragret it!
