Newquay Town Council is disappointed to report that there has been another spate of vandalism affecting the recently re-opened Public Conveniences. The two most notable of these are the men’s toilets at Watergate Bay and the disabled toilet at Narrowcliff. The repair costs to these facilities will ultimately fall upon the ratepayers of Newquay and so the Town Council would like to renew its plea for the residents in Newquay to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity or wrongdoing to both the Police and the Town Council, so it may take action to safeguard this important public service from closure. In the meantime, Newquay Town Council is actively exploring ways in which those persons vandalising the facilities can be caught and appropriate action taken against them.
