News: A technical glitch will allow people more time to make representations on the planning application for Elgin’s proposed western link road. The original deadline for comments on the application had been set for today. However, due to a technical problem the e-planning section of Moray Council’s website has been showing Tuesday, May 27 as the last date for representations. A council spokesman said: “There has been a glitch in the system whereby the deadline date has kept rolling forward on a daily basis and by the time the issue was resolved it was showing May 27. “Under the circumstances we are quite content for the deadline to be extended to that date and we will accept representations up until then.” So far the council has received in excess of 200 representations on the application.
