#News: Ambassador Berhane receives copy of the credentials of the newly-appointed Ambassador of #Togo Ambassador Berhane Gebre-Christos, State Minister for Foreign Affairs, received on Monday (September 8) a copy of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of Togo to Ethiopia, Ambassador Ekpa Nolaki. Ambassador Berhane noted that Ethio-Togo bilateral ties highlighted a true Pan African cooperative partnership in bilateral relations and African affairs. He detailed how Ethiopia was making greater strides to expedite and provide impetus for continental integration and the betterment of the lives and livelihoods of its citizens. Ambassador Berhane noted that Ethio-Togo bilateral relations featured meaningful cooperative partnership in political and economic areas including African peace, stability, and development. He added that air services were an important component at the heart of their relationship. Ambassador Berhane stressed the need to encourage all-round cooperation potential and expedite Ethio-Togo relations to further encourage African integration and meet the interests of their peoples. Ambassador Ekpao Nolaki said Togo was ready to draw lessons and benefit from Ethiopia’s exemplary developmental achievements in various sectors. Sharing experiences would help both countries leap forward on the path of economic and social development, he said. He also pointed out that Ethiopian Airlines was playing a critical role in bilateral ties by providing air connectivity. Togo, he said, was planning to send a delegation to look at the best practices of Ethiopia’s infrastructure development, particularly railways.
