Barangay Ginebra forward Mac Baracael provided the endgame heroics on Saturday’s controversial game by sinking three straight free throws with three-tenths of second to go to lead the Gin Kings to a 101-100 win. Referee No Quilingen whistled a foul on Rain or Shine’s burly big man Beau Belga, who went to challenge Baracael’s last-second three-point attempt in front of the Ginebra bench. The call drew a howl of protest from Belga and the rest of the E-Painters, who claimed there was no foul. Salud later said the call was "spot on."
