News Flash!!!!!!!!!!!! The Manatee Fair Pageants is now offering a pageant for everyone!! November 22nd, 2014 - Miss Manatee County/Miss Manatee River and Miss Manatee Outstanding Teen will be awarded at Braden River High School. This pageant is a local preliminary for the Miss Florida Pageant. Contestants will compete in Interview, on stage question, swimsuit or fitness wear, talent and evening gown. Winners will win a $1,000.00 scholarship and compete in Miss Florida in June. Saturday, January 17th - The traditional fair pageant will be held in the Entertainment tent at the fair. Mini MIss, Little Miss, Junior Miss, and Miss Manatee County Fair Titles will be awarded. Contestants will be compete in on stage question, country/western wear and evening gown. There will be no interview. The Miss winner will win a $500.00 scholarship. All 4 winners will be expected to participate in Fair activities. Saturday, January 24th - The traditional baby pageant will be held in the Entertainment tent the fair. This pageant is for children ages 0 to 6 years old. Contestants will be judged on overall beauty but may enter the optional categories of Best Smile, Best Hair, Best Outfit, Prettiest Smile and Photogenic.
