#News: RM8.5 Billion #EPF Withdrawals For Q3 2014 The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) today reported that total withdrawals for the third quarter 2014 (Q3 2014) amounted to RM8.50 billion, with 413,827 applications approved. The Flexible Age 55 Withdrawal remained the top withdrawal at RM1.70 billion as opposed to RM1.53 billion withdrawn in the corresponding period in 2013, reflecting an increase of 11 per cent (Q2 2014: RM1.81 billion). Members who opted to withdraw their EPF savings in full via the Age 55 Lump Sum Withdrawal increased slightly at 2.74 per cent to RM1.63 billion in Q3 2014 with 40,931 applications approved from RM1.60 billion in Q3 2013 (Q2 2014: RM1.81 billion). goo.gl/pY8HM6 -sh-
