News Report from our correspondent has it that three large explosions suspected to be bomb blasts have been heard in three parts of Maiduguri, the Borno state capital. Our correspondent who sent a message to his friend over there confirmed it. The impact of the blasts is still unknown, meanwhile boko haram terrorists have taken the war to the Nigerian Army and are currently attempting to take over Giwa barracks. The University of Maiduguri is reportedly under siege as boko haram terrorists are currently using assault rifles and rocket propelled grenades to fire near the campus that is home to 40,000 students.
