News flash...Mike Kenneth Booth got a back full of cactus needles, got stung by a Yellow jacket and Dakota came in contact with the very painful Pus Catarpillar............. .................Soo... Mike comes home after Saturday PT exercise and said hed inadvertantly done sit ups in a patch of cactus or some sort of prickly something and while Dad was helping him remove those little needles, Dakota comes tearing into the house hollering like a kid with a broken arm and screaming about pain. He was climbing his friends fence and suddenly had intense pain shooting up his arm. His friends found a caterpillar that hed come in contact with on the fence, took it off the with a pole and one of the kids stomped on it to killing it while Dakota rode home on his bike a block, screaming the whole way. ... We immediately treated Dakota with Apple Cider Vinegar on a paper towel for a little bit and thanks to Michael previously getting stung by a yellow jacket Id all ready prepared a paste of Charcoal, Bentonite clay and colloidial silver to absorb toxins with and applied that paste meant for Michael on Dakotas arm. We gave him some Benadryl and he is feeling better but still a little tender... After we wrapped his arm around the paste I ran up to the neighbors house and collected the caterpillar in question. We think its the Puss Catarpillar that was recently highlighted in the news and to be aware of. Wish Id looked up then how to treat, because the fur has needles as well that you should pull out (like a bees stinger) but I think I did well using the ACVingar because the article says that the pain is immediate and more intense than a bee, jellyfish, or scorpion. I know that with the Jellyfish ACV counteracts the venom and can save someones life.... After about a minute of the ACV being on his arm the swelling had gone away, but the pain was still present. After about 10-15 minutes the sever pain subsided and now he is having fun playing on the Roku. ....So thanks Mike for getting stung and I want everyone of my other friends between Maryland and Florida to be aware of this caterpillar that is really a moth that can be deadly if you have severe allergies.... Here is the dead caterpillar in question and methods of treating if you do come in contact with it. ...... and it wouldnt hurt to baby someone who comes into contact with it with maybe an extra scoop of ice cream.... wikihow/Treat-a-Caterpillar-Sting
