Newsletter Autumn 2013: Issue 6 Welcome to the autumn addition of Lavender Home Helps newsletter which sees Lavender Home Help moving into the start of its 3rd year! We start of by wishing Peter Webster a Happy 80th Birthday. Below is a picture of him at his birthday party with his Home Help Carole DiCredico (July 2013). If you have a special birthday coming up and would like to appear in our newsletter then please let Karen know. Also, did you know you can call on our Home Help service if you would like someone to come along and help cook you a special meal for your birthday or escort you out somewhere to celebrate? Josephine Fitzgerald (pictured below) has used our Home Help and Home Maintenance services for 2 years this December. Josephine said she is very happy with the visits she receives; ‘Both the girls who visit me are really nice and their visits make me happy.” We also had some nice feedback from Mrs Anderson from Orpington who used Lavender Home Help following an operation earlier on in the year; ‘My husband and I were extremely happy with our wonderful Home Help “Chris”. She was a very good and extremely hard working lady’ All feedback is gratefully received by Lavender Home Help whether it is positive feedback or comments on how we can improve our services. If you are happy for your comments to appear in future newsletters then please let Karen know. To add to our existing services Lavender Home Help are considering providing a pick up and return ironing service. If this is a service you may be interested in either now or in the future please let Karen know, so we can establish if there might be a need for this. Home Help News: Lavender Home Help would like to congratulate and thank the following members of staff for their work as they have now been working with Lavender Home Help clients for over 1 year: Carole DiCredico (Home Help in the Biggin Hill area) and Adam Huxley (Home Help and Handy person covering most of Bromley). We also welcome 2 new Home Helps: Joanne Tailor from Orpington and Anna Neophytou from Catford who start with us this autumn.
