More recently David Currie, Eddie Williamson and Gary Bingham. Could mention loads more. Best by a mile though was Paul Blackledge!! What a player!! Cabbage Guy used to play for us called Raymie Taylor. Great fella but total cabbage! Once made himself unavailable for selection because he had athletes foot!! Wasnt even an athlete! Proudest Kelvin moments? Scoring the winner on my debut away to Wakehurst. Being made captain, winning player of the year, being asked to look after the 2nds and watching the lads lift the Junior Shield!! That was some night! Biggest Kelvin Disappointment? Getting relegated under Larmour and Christie. Narrowly missing out on promotion under Craig 2 seasons in a row! Kelvin Legend? For me its Geezer! Over 500 1st team appearances! Well into his 40s now and still turning out for the 2nds! Brilliant guy too!! Worst dressed Kelvin member? Where i start? The 3 Surgies are hectic, Marshy looks like he gets dressed in the dark but it has to be Stevie Larmour! Once turned up at the end of season do in a hoody!! Worst haircut? The sideshade aka Dean Wightman! Gets his hair cut with a knife and fork! Favourite Food? Cant beat a Chinese or a good Sunday dinner. I dont eat that much to be honest!! Drink at the bar? Nice cold pint of bud or a corona! Partial to a zambucca too! Favourite film? Goodfellas! Must have seen it 100 times! Never gets old!! Favourite Restaurant Zen! Some spot! Darcys is boggin! Cartoon Character as a kid? Dogtanian and the 3 Muskadounds! You youngsters will have to YouTube it!(All for 1 and 1 for all) Holiday destination? Istanbul! Amazing city!! Hopes for the club for the future? To see the club celebrate its 40th year next year! Some achievement when you consider the other good clubs in our area whove come and gone!
