Next week will be 12 years since I graduated from K-town!!! After graduating I attended Adams State in Colorado. I didnt exactly adjust to college life very well however I finished up the year and then headed back to Maryland. Luckily I found my career, I applied to a company called UCP ( United Cerebral Palsy) and started working with individuals with developmental disabilities. During my 7 years there I met my oldest childrens father and had 2 babies Madison who is now 8 and Gavin who is now 5. Shortly after my son was born we split and I met my wonderful husband during a family tragedy. He deployed to his second combat tour in Afghanistan.Upon his return we were married in 2010 and moved to Ft. Carson where he was stationed in 2011. We welcomed our 3rd and final child Trenton now almost 2 in 2012, the following March he was medically retired from the Army. During these past 3 years I have worked for an amazing company Cheyenne Village and continue to work with the same population. I absolutely love my job here! I will be sad to say good bye to them as we are moving to Indiana this summer so my husband can finish his degree and be with his family. Eventually we will be making Southern Maryland our final destination!! I may have left out some of the gory details to spare others. My life has definitely turned out the way I thought but at this point in my life Im loving it! Finally Ktown will always be my home and will always cherish the memories. If I knew you or not, we all have special bond!
