Niassa Lion Project : Here is the amazing MOMS wildlife guardian team with their certificates and new T-shirts. with Director of Agriculture, Mecula as well as two representatives from Health Department of Mavago District and Mecula District, Mbumba and Horacio They chose the colour of the T-shirts as green means Hope, they have asked to take this program to the next level, they have built the budget for next year, they have analysed their data, they are determined to protect more goat corrals and they have asked if Euzebio and Samuel can visit all their villages to talk about conservation (based on the great presentation they did) next year. Slowly slowly the dots connect in this great partnership between the Niassa Reserve team, our team and the community team. When things are working well there is a kind of energy in the team and I could feel it today. This team is reinspired and ready to work for conservation. This is what Mariri Environmental and Skills training Centre is all about.
