Nice MPR piece on Stupor Bowl 17, the alley cat bike race I volunteered at yesterday. Racers may choose either speed or stupor courses. The speed racers had to visit each of the 18 stops and get a stamp, while stupor-ers could go to as many as they liked, but had to consume a beer (or a delicious Sociable Cider Werks cider at our stop) and perform a task--a ring toss with old tubes and a bike stand, in our case. It was a sunny, seasonably warm day, a nice break from our especially bitter cold, gray, snowy winter this year. A hilarious and amusing event!
