Nice write up about the Drue man.........Go kid!!!! They highlighted the best pitcher and hitter for the week............. And it was Drue Bravo of the Travelers and Jesse Abel of the Explorers that presented the thunder and lightening this past weekend in the LCBL. Bravo tossed eight innings of shutout baseball in leading the Travelers to a 3-1 weekend series win over the Pioneers, while Abel powered the Explorers with two home runs, his first and second of the summer, including a grand slam that sealed a series sweep for the Explorers over the Pathfinders. Abel, with his two home runs, tops the LCBL home run leaderboard. Bravo, meanwhile, is dominating the pitching categories (along with the Explorers Rhett Quinlan) by leading the league in WHIP, ERA, and strikeouts. “Drue is continuing where he left off last summer,” said league Commissioner Nicholas Mahrt. “He is an impressive pitcher with impressive stuff. And even when he doesn’t have his best stuff it often bests hitters".
