Nicholas II with his men (image 3, Easter 1915) The red egg - TopicsExpress

Nicholas II with his men (image 3, Easter 1915) The red egg symbolizes new life and is presented as a gift at Easter. It was (and still is) customary to greet another by kissing them three times on the cheek. Nicholas II would greet his men on Easter Sunday at Livadia Palace and personally embrasse trois fois, hundreds of his men. What a beautiful custom. :) included in this Tumblr site is a seconds only video clip of Nicholas II greeting his troops. :) https://tumblr/search/Nicholas+II.
