Speak To The Storms“And the same day, when the even was come, He saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.” Mark 4:35Jesus was sleeping in the boat heading for the other side with His disciples in this account, yet the winds came. One would have thought that with Jesus in the boat, all would be well. Most times, it doesn’t work that way. Don’t you know that challenges will always come to you? For every promise God gives to you, the devil will bring a problem. There will be a challenge for the word’s sake. It depends on whose report you believe. The Bible says a great storm arose suddenly. There was a great storm and boisterous wind even in the presence of the Master of the universe. The disciples were busy bailing out water from the boat, fighting the storm trying to make stable the troubled boat. They were literally taking their lives in their own hands, yet the Master of all the waves was sleeping. Psalms 2:1-4 says “Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against His anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision”. What is God doing concerning your situation? He is not anxious. He is laughing. Yes He is laughing because when it is all said and done, it will be your palace of glory. Jesus stepped out and said to the storm, peace be still and there was calm. Yes He is in charge and the waves and the storms obeyed. That is the God you serve and that the God that promised never to leave you nor forsake you. The storm raging in your life now is not an indication that God is not with you. No, the presence of the storm is an opportunity for you to display the awesome power of your God. Don’t fret or get edgy, God is in absolute control; what He did yesterday, He is able to do today. He is constant and unchanging. No matter the storm in your life, I command peace over it right now, in Jesus’ name. I speak peace to that storm of sickness, diseases, pains and agony. Whatever the enemy has packaged against your life, I dislodge it and I command peace in the name of Jesus. I declare you will not be overwhelmed. You will experience the peace of the Lord; for the Lord will give you an answer of peace. I bless you in the name of the Lord.Further reading: Mark.4:35-40Daily Bible Reading: Morning: Jeremiah 30-31; Evening Philemon
