Nigeria, Vast size, and population, and a bundance of resources do not guarantee in any automatic way the leadership of this (Africa) continent. Until we are able to establish a stable political order at home, industrialize, and take off technologically, and improve the quality of life of our people, no country within and outside Africa will accept our claim to leadership in Africa seriously except to flatter us....
