Nigerian human rights activist, Dr. Joe-Okei Odumakin has said she will mobilize pregnant women in Lagos for a massive protest if Arthur Okeke, a police officer who assaulted and brutalized pregnant Mrs. Rashidat Oyelowo Abdulmajeed (see photo in comment) is not adequately dealt with by the police authorities. A few days ago, a video of the assault went online, see here if you missed it. Speaking to journalists, Mrs. Abdulmajeed said she was slapped and her hijab was torn by the police officer who conducted himself in a most disgraceful manner. I will not say much on this matter but watch the case closely. As for uniformed officers on this page, because there are many of you here, your era of impunity is over. Mobile technology has ensured that you cannot just beat anyone and get away with it. Remember that Rear Admiral Harry Brutality Arogundade nearly lost his job and the Nigerian Navy was asked to pay up N100 million to Uzoma Okeke after his ratings beat her up and stripped her naked because she did not leave the road that was built with taxpayers money for Arogundades two-car convoy. The whole thing was caught on a camera phone. Do not think you can misbehave anyhow because if we catch you on tape kpere, we will not only shout out, we will keep recirculating it until you are adequately and generously punished. You cannot be surviving on the sweat of the Nigerian taxpayers money and still be treating us like animals because we are not. Uniformed officers, respect yourself because your clouds of disgrace is getting heavier and heavier and when the rain will fall, you will not be able to cope with the flood. If you like, run your mouth on me inbox as usual, my own family members are part of you too and I am telling them exactly the same thing. You need to change your ways.
